These logs are excerpts from my daily all-band reports, mainly SWBC, also
VHF/UHF, sometimes utility, ham, which may be found in several archives without
much delay, such as
http://www.hard-core-dx.com/index.php?topic=Hauser
And compiled weekly along with extensive news from many other individuals and
publications in DX LISTENING DIGEST:

All my MW DX reports starting August 2011 are archived in this forum with open
access:

All times and dates strictly UT. Rx: mostly DX-398 with internal antenna only
or PL-880; NRD-545 with ALA-330S inside E-W or inside randomwire N-S; Nissan
stock caradio as specified; ICR-75 E-W longwire. I am no longer using the
FRG-7 so remove it from my equipment list
** CUBA. 640, Oct 31 at 0003 UT, with near-local KWPN Moore OK nulled,
something in Spanish, mentions ``pescador de hembras``, hmmm, sounds
interesting; is it the new WMFN in Peotone IL? That station has just activated
after being moved from Zeeland MI, causing excitement among MWDXers.
Unfortunately, the Spanish I am hearing loops toward Cuba, Radio Progreso, not
Chicago. Initially WMFN was being heard 24 hours in Spanish, as reported by Tom
Jasinski, Joliet. How do you pronounce Peotone? Or in Spanish? (Glenn Hauser,
OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** MEXICO. 820, Nov 1 at 1300 UT, the only Mexican NA I find in a quick scan of
the lower band is here, barely, with WBAP nulled. Probably XEABCA, Mexicali,
still on DST where it`s 6 am (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
UNIDENTIFIED. JBA trans-Pacific MW carrier search, Nov 3 at 1206-1210 UT: from
WSW, i.e. Au/NZ not Japan: 774, 702, 576, 1035; and from west 1098, i.e.
Marshall Islands (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
