You know, I could see it if they were trying to make the point that there's no full-on suppressed carrier single sideband transmission on the mediumwave band. But if it actually says in the manual that you have to be tuned above 2 MHz to ENABLE SSB... jeez. I thought at least somebody (well, maybe not the operating-manual writers...) at C.Crane was savvy about DXing. But, uh, maybe not.
