Of course I agree with Neil.

The Drake R8A has a 50 ohm impedance antenna connector which isn't really 
compatible with the FSL's inductively coupled boosting system. The FSL antennas 
work very well with any radio having a loopstick (portables of any size) but 
not with table receivers looking for a broadband antenna with 50 ohm impedance.
