These logs are excerpts from my daily all-band reports, mainly SWBC, also
VHF/UHF, sometimes utility, ham, which may be found in several archives without
much delay, such as
http://www.hard-core-dx.com/index.php?topic=Hauser

And compiled weekly along with extensive news from many other individuals and
publications in DX LISTENING DIGEST:
http://www.worldofradio.com/dxldmid.html

All my MW DX reports starting August 2011 are archived in this forum with open
access:
http://forums.wtfda.org/showthread.php?6543-MW-DX-from-Enid-OK-by-Glenn-Hauser/page67
[over 282,000 views! as of February 16, 2018]

All times and dates strictly UT. Rx: mostly DX-398 with internal antenna only
or PL-880; NRD-545 with ALA-330S inside E-W or inside randomwire N-S; Nissan
stock caradio as specified; ICR-75  E-W longwire.

** BONAIRE. No new logs from me of TWR 800, but lots more discussion of the new
augmented 440 kW service, particularly the antenna patterns, in the new DX
Listening Digest when published:
http://www.w4uvh.net/dxld1807.txt
(Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** MEXICO [non]. 800, Feb 12 at 1333 UT, nulling KQCV OKC, no sign of XEROK,
but another weak station in English. Ten minutes after sunrise here, long
before sunrise in Juárez. Altho other lowband XEs are not heard either, XEROK
should be detectable if anywhere near rated 50 kW. Need to check earlier (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WORLD OF RADIO 1917, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** MEXICO. 800, Feb 13 at 1307, checking for XEROK, with KQCV OKC nulled ---
not a trace; only CCI is another weak station in English. If on from Juárez,
must be very reduced power.

870, Feb 13 at 1311, XETAR, time chex and ID in Spanish, La Voz de la Sierra
Tarahumara, Chihuahua; other usual Chihuahuans still audible on 700, 710, 720,
730 --- but no 800 XEROK (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

UNIDENTIFIED. Trans-Pacific JBA MW carrier search on the rotatable DX-398, Feb
12 at 1319-1327: 558-?, 594-WSW, 702-WSW, 774-NW, 828-NW, 846-NW, 882-?,
936-WSW, 1098-W, 1566-NW.

Our sunrise today 1323 UT. Immediately after above at 1327-1330, I switch to
the R75 & longwire, but the only one still audible is 1566, presumably Korea
South (Glenn Hauser, Enid OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

UNIDENTIFIED. Trans-Atlantic? JBA MW carrier search, Feb 10 at 0735-0744 UT,
R75 in USB mode 1 kHz below, pre-amps off: 585, 612, 621, 675, 693, 702, 882,
909, 972, 999, 1044, 1062, 1089, 1098, 1215, 1413, 1422, 1503, 1512*, 1584. The
sun is upping over Europe, but all these haven`t quite faded out yet. OTOH, by
now the sun is just setting upon Wellington, so NZers could propagate, tho most
of them are lower-powered (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

UNIDENTIFIED. Trans-Atlantic JBA MW carriers: not a complete bandscan but
checked a few spots and heard carriers or hets, Feb 11 at 0521+ on 621, 0530+
on 1044(2), 1125(2), 1215.

BTW, Absolute Radio, surely source of the 1215 signals, has applied to ``reduce
AM coverage by 5%``. Try to figure out what that mean from this 22-page pdf via
Hansjoerg Biener:
https://www.ofcom.org.uk/__data/assets/pdf_file/0006/111003/Absolute-Radio-proposals-to-reduce-AM-coverage.pdf
WRTH says they have 14 stations on 1215 totaling 560 kW on this ex-BBC
frequency (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

UNIDENTIFIED. Trans-Atlantic JBA MW carrier search, Feb 14 at 0308-0317 UT,
after lots are being reported across North America: 531, 549, 558, 567, 576,
558, 594, 603, 612, 621, 639, 666, 684, 693*, 702, 711, 729, 738, 765, 774(2),
783, 801, 828, 837, 855*, 864*, 882*, 891*, 909, 936, 954, 999, 1008, 1026,
1044(2), 1179, 1197, 1206, 1215(2), 1386?, 1413, 1422, 1458, 1503, 1512, 1566,
1575(+ jambuzz??).

At 0339 I also have something off-channel on 595 which would be Morocco, unless
it`s my KZLS-1640 spur.

* means the stronger ones; (2) means two carriers, or maybe more. Wish I had a
Q-multiplier like on my old HQ-160; just too much hash/ACI from all the North
American stations. This time I have left Preamp 2 on the R75 (Glenn Hauser, OK,
DX LISTENING DIGEST)

UNIDENTIFIED. Trans-Atlantic JBA LW carrier search, Feb 15 at 0540 UT: 153?,
162, 171, 180, 189?, 198, 216(2 including CLB beacon), 252. Preamps of the R75
off.

Trans-Atlantic JBA MW carrier search, Feb 15 at 0542 UT: I`m starting at 1215,
downward: 1215*, 1152, 1125, 1116, 1053, 1044*, 1026, 999, 972, 936, 909, 882,
873, 855, 846, 783, 774(2), 747, 738, 729, 711, 702, 693*, 666(2), 639(2), 621,
612*, 585, 576, 558(2), 549, 531(2).

>From 0546 upward: 1215*, 1242, 1296, 1305, 1332, 1341, 1413, 1422, 1512, 1521,
>1575, 1584.

At 0558 I switch to the NRD-545, and can hear many of these carriers, but
certainly no better. Continuously reduceable bandwidth and passband tuning do
not audiblize any modulation against the heavy North American ACI (Glenn
Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

UNIDENTIFIED. Trans-Atlantic JBA MW carrier search, Feb 16 at 0313, starting
midband: 1044(2), 1098, 1125, 1152, 1215, 1422; the rest:

>From 0316, upward: 531, 549, 558(2), 585, 602, 621, 639, 666(2), 693(2), 711,
>729, 738, 774(2), 783, 837, 855(2), 873, 882, 936, 1026.

JBA LW carrier search from 0320: 162, 252, the latter with QRM from nearby
beacon SW, Stillwater OK (Glenn Hauser, Enid OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

Sorry, previous send just as I started editing, mis-hit a button other than
send, but out it went
