Thanks to Richard for his TP-DX report from Oklahoma. Asian conditions here on the west coast were pretty dramatically improved this morning, at least during the sunrise enhancement period from 1410-1450 UTC. 603-HLSA, 657-Pyongyang, a presumed 738-BEL2 (in Chinese) and 972-HLCA were all having good peaks of audio during the short session, with 603-HLSA (all alone, with no China) having its best audio for quite some time around 1430. 657-Pyongyang's signal seemed to taper off with the increasing daylight, though, and was MIA around 1430 for its "TOH" (with the 3+1 pips). 657-China also stayed down in the noise, unlike February 13th and 15th. Since this was mainly a session to test out new Ultralights and FSL's, no serious attempt was made to check out the entire band (unlike a more dedicated individual, located about 99 miles to the northwest).
