I was surprise at just how many stations produced audio today. It was one of the better mornings of the season here. There was actually a sunrise enhancement at the upper part of the dial, with 1557 and 1494 showing up just before 1400 and staying around for quite a while after that. 1557 had a particularly impressive signal at times. The lower and mid bands didn't see to show any sort of enhancement. The lower part of the dial, in fact, gradually tapered off after about 1330. The mid-band stayed interesting for a while longer. 558 S KOREA, 1231 good non-stop pop tunes //603 567 JAPAN, JOIK, male talk fair-good 1204 585 JAPAN, JOPG, 1322 very weak talk //594 594 JAPAN, JOAK, 1248 jazz music and male talk good 603 S KOREA, 1232pop tunes then man in Korean //558 612 JAPAN, JOLK 1405 weak female talk //594 657 N KOREA, 1233 woman in Korean fair 666 JAPAN, JOBK 1203 Japanese male //567 675 JAPAN, NHK1, 1307 fair talk //594 693 JAPAN, JOAB 1206 English lesson strong 702 JAPAN, NHK2, 1315 English lesson poor //693 in KIRO splat 729 JAPAN, JOCK 1304 talk //594 weak-fair in 730 splash 738 TAIWAN? 1405 weak Chinese talk 747 JAPAN, JOIB, 1223 English lesson good 756 CHINA, CNR1 1208 echoey Chinese talk //981.
