My mom supported my radio hobby from when I was 12 on... even tossing me extra coin for wire, insulators and tools... bought me my first radio kit, the Globe Patrol.
Mom passed away last night, after a valiant but brief battle with an infection that overwhelmed her. Thanks for everything mom! I know the reception where you are now is stellar.
