I spent 5 days on the Kona Coast of Hawaii (the Big Island) from April 14 to
April 19 2018. I stayed at the Kona Isle Condominiums. The condominium complex
was selected due to the availability of a series of picnic tables sited about
50 ft. from the shore. Below is a photo of my "Frequent Flyer" Turbocharged
Tecsun PL-380 and 5 inch FSL generously provided by Gary DeBock. These two
pieces of equipment are clear difference makers. I DXed both in the evening and
in the early morning.
Here are the first series of recordings of the DXPedition (Many thanks to Gary
for editing these recordings!!) More to come!
