Good story but I wonder how many of those power levels are "ERP (Effective Radiated Power) as opposed to "TPO" (Transmitter Power Output). When you take antenna gain into consideration it may paint a completely different picture! There are 50-kilowatt stations in the U.S. that radiate a lot more than 50 kilowatts in certain directions.
