Yesterday's torrid Asian propagation cooled down somewhat this morning,
but there were still quite a few interesting signals. The low band Chinese had
mixed results with 603-China much stronger than yesterday (snarling with HLSA
near S9 for much of the session) while 639-CNR1 barely showed up at a weak
level around 1415. 657-China mixed it up with Pyongyang at an equal level from
1400-1415 causing quite a zoo on the frequency, while the same thing happened
on 738 as a rejuvenated HLKA fought it out with BEL2. The mid band Chinese were
nowhere near as numerous or strong as yesterday, and Asian propagation also
tanked a little earlier here than yesterday's torrid session. Thanks once again
to Nick for his extremely detailed daily TP reports (and to Colin also), which
provide a very interesting reference for the wild sessions here over the past
couple of days. More details to follow...

603 China Hulun Buir? Soft-voiced Chinese female speech fighting it out
(and eventually winning) over HLSA's pop music at 1404; one of three
"battleground frequencies" this morning (along with 657 and 738)
