Bearing is about 300 deg from Lubec to Marshalls. Surprising to have that signal level on a DKAZ aimed 35 deg, but clobbering WTAM 1100 is also important. Is V7AB using their full 25 kW now? Earlier this month when cx were great and I wasn't sick so was up to DX, I had their all night OC peaking about 47 dB above the noise floor. Last season they had a 60 Hz hum on that OC and one could see it +/- 60 Hz from 1098 on the spectral display and also hear it when strong, but that has been fixed. Just imagine how easy HI would be if something strong there drifted a few KHz and became a split.
Bearing to Seoul from Lubec is 349 deg so basically transpolar. I don't think we have enough info on how stations in far eastern N.Am can get past the AU zone, when they aren't making it here (extremely rare) into the upper Midwest. 73 KAZ Barrington IL On Sat, Nov 17, 2018 at 11:33 AM Volodya S <[email protected]> wrote: > Bill, I was very impressed with the second clip.
