Here, there was nothing like the conditions that Nigel reported. A couple of
DUs earlier, otherwise conditions seem to have moved "longer" as sunrise
approached, to favor a few Chinese, and that's about it. The Iranian jammer
was missing; that waited until sunset this evening.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):

945 CNR1 man in Chinese 1535UT //1593

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling with splash or noise):

594 JOAK 1516UT

972 HLCA woman on phone talking to man in studio, Korean, 1537UT

1566 HLAZ woman in Chinese 1542UT, then again at strength 1557UT followed by
choral music

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could
be understood by a native speaker:

639 CNR1 man talking //945 1516UT

702 2BL with man and woman in DU English 1424UT (a minute later //'d 828)

774 JOUB 1427UT

828 JOBB //774 1433UT

1575 VoA? woman SE Asian language 1535UT

1593 CNR1 man talking //945 1535UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

603 soft voiced woman talking 1530-1UT, likely HLSA?

738 man talking, Chinese intonation 1459UT; nothing worthwhile on the hour

747 JOIB //774 1444UT

774 3LO pop vocal //702 1438UT

828 3GI man talking //702 1425UT

855 operatic female vocal 1526UT, North Korea?

873 JOGB //828 1439UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged
by splatter)

  621 702 711 756 846 891 918 999 1089  1251 1386 1557   seemed to be Asian;
738 seemed to be DU

best wishes,

Nick
