Certainly a better morning than yesterday, but still not earth shattering by
any means. Despite this, the Iranian buzzer made another morning appearance
on 1575, not strong, but "identifiable".

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):

not yet...

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling with splash or noise):

567 JOIK //594 1506UT

594 JOAK 1535UT

774 JOUB 1534UT; still there, but weaker at sign off 1540-5UT. In case
someone somewhere logged something exotic on the channel, NHK2 had what sounded
like the Muslim call to prayer at 1520UT, and a few minutes later, various
other types of non Japanese / western vocal music.

972 HLCA 1544UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could
be understood by a native speaker:

828 JOBB 1508UT

1566 HLAZ likely with choral music 1541UT. Also noted weakly at 1747UT with
man and woman talking, and chimes at 1752UT that I believe I've heard before on
this channel (VoA?). But man at 1756UT sounded Russian, and I thought RFA was
in Korean at this time... And my local noise maker ruined any chance of an ID
at 1800UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

603 soft voiced man 1534UT; HLSA?

639 man talking, Chinese intonation 1506UT

693 JOAB //774 1519UT

747 JOIB 1538-9UT

873 JOGB //828 1516UT

1575 Iranian jammer first noted 1536UT; best level (still not strong) 1551UT

1575 man talking o/u buzzer; SE Asian language? 1541UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged
by splatter)

738 846 864 1215 1287 1323 1593  seemed to be Asian;
612 1017 seemed to be DU

best wishes,

Nick
