Hi Phil, On a whim I pulled out a CCradio 2E and was stunned to find near-LOCAL quality Russian talk on 1520!
The signal nulls for me in a NNE direction (est. 345-350 deg. bearing) from Puyallup; that's actually *towards* Everett in general. I first heard Russian talk at 7:45pm PST, but now at 7:58 it's Russian language music. OK, at the top of the hour I just heard "KQRR, Oregon City, Oregon" in English, and then back into Russian with mentions of "Christiana" or similar. I note this station is 15 kw nighttime. I wonder why they are coming in so strong? They are nearly pegging the 2E's signal meter indoors.
