As far as I understand there are two messages, one beginning January, about the
closure of the National MW channels 1215 and 1566 ( and SW 9380) and another
message about the closure of all AIR MW channels as from April 2019.

All India Radio National Channel seems to continue today as before, so seems,
that the closure wasn't as immediate as was reported. Does anyone know the
exact closing date or has the closure been cancelled?

Not quite the same story? The national channel is not carried on the DRM
network as far as I can see.
