Right then, before I went for a long lunch (which really doesn't help my study) things seemed okay up here. However it appears that they are now not so ok. Firstly I will delete the offending posts, I don't think it serves any ourpose to leave them up here. Secondly, we are for the most part all mature adults up here, we don't need to resort to swearing at each other to make our points - so from now on any post that involves foul language will be deleted. I will allow people to type obscenities if they blank out part of the word and if its being used in a funny context but if they are used to attack other people they will be deleted. Thirdly, you should be ashamed of yourselves. Fourthly, the new board is okay. I have seen it, I don't think its vastly different to this one. Neither side should take offence if their board is criticised and/or eventually not used. I really don't mind which one we use, all I am interested in is in keeping people posting. I don't care where or how, its the debates that I am interested in not the format of the board. Not sure what comes after fourthly, fifthly maybe and after that I really don't know. So I will just say that I have no problem with a new board being set up and no problem with people changing over to it. Hell I will join it (or have I already??) Owen its fair to say that you are the main proponent of the new board, however this is some sort of a democracy so if people don't want to change you can't force them. I know you don't like democracy and I know of your desire to move to that socialist paradise that is Cuba, however for the moment just accept people's points of view. You shouldn't take criticisms of a new board personally, I don't take criticisms of this board personally even when the post is aimed at me. Ken you should know better after what happened between us on the old board. I don't care where the we post things, i don't care if I even have to use a Mac to do it (stupid computers). The whole point of a forum is to discuss something, in this case fencing. To debate which forum we should use or what it should look like, colour it is, etc is kinda stupid. Last thing. Why don't you post up a link to the new board so we can have a look at it before we start criticising it again??
