We have put this issue to bed over the years for the same reasons, and nothing has changed. Anyone remember a certain captains meeting at Coleraine? Intervarsities are not just for winning, they are for getting your newbies into competition and firing them up. Do you really think that you will do that when your one beginner goes on and loses his/her team loads of points in one go? Come on, think about it!
