I've put together a set of IronPython samples: https://github.com/jdhardy/IronPythonSamples. They're still a bit early, but there are console, WinForms, and WPF samples. The idea was to show how you could embed IronPython in various types of applications. There's also a pure-Python WPF app (and kudos to Dino & co. for the WPF integration in PTVS - it works better than I expected).
Check out, and let me know what other project types I should add.
