"While there is a c# driver for mongo, staying in python to access mongo would
be preferred. I opened an issue with the pymongo team, and I got the following
response:

If the "missing pieces" could be determined, perhaps it would be possible to
include the appropriate functionality to support pymongo and possibly other
packages relying on this functionality."
