maybe someone is interested....the irssi that works in
OSX is currently included in unstable FINK for osx
10:54 < Fingolfin> if anybody is interested, I got
irssi to build on OS X. The
only change required (besides
install ncurses, which I have
anyways) was to modify
src/fe-text/Makefile.am
10:56 < Fingolfin> the problem was/is that the system
lib contains its own
version of curses (which lacks some
features, though), and
one has to ensure -lncurses comes
before -lm therefore,
since on OS X, -lm just is an alias
for the system lib. if
ones doesn't do this, then it will
start using some of the
(wrong) curses functions from the
system lib instead of from
ncurses
10:56 < Fingolfin> I think this "fix" could easily be
added to the standard
irssi distro
