Actually, the rewrite won't use glib at all :) Also, GSignals is annoying in the way that it requires each signal to be registered. But .. hmm. maybe that registeration wouldn't be that bad :) "event xxx" are problematic since it depends on server what events it sends, but I could just register them all at once by saying "all signals beginning with 'event '".
