Hello,

I've found, that irssi, X-Chat and mIRC violate the RFC when sending a
password with spaces in it, resulting in unability to use such passwords.

In RFC a parameter can contain a space only if it is a trailing parameter
preceded by a ':'. And that's what I thought an intelligent IRC client will
do for a PASS command too.

As an workaround, I had to write a hack which made my program accept PASS
command without ':' as PASS with one big argument, but it's ugly and it's not
my problem ;).

Yours sincerely,
