the whois numeric 379 currently uses the event_whois_modes handler, but this doesn't work right. changing it to event_whois_usermode causes the numeric to be processed properly and display.
it appears that event_whois_usermode is falling through to
event_whois_special.
Any chance of this being fixed in CVS?
