Israeli sniper shoots dead a 14-year old boy in Balata refugee camp

Nablus - Ma'an - A teenage Palestinian boy was killed and his older brother injured during an incursion by Israeli Special Forces into Balata refugee camp in the West Bank city of Nablus on Thursday evening.
Our correspondent in Nablus reported that Ibrahim Sanaqra, 14, was killed when an Israeli sniper shot him as he was trying to rescue his brother, Ahmed Sanaqra, 28, who had been seriously injured by an Israeli bullet when he was trying to plant an explosive device near the Martyr's Cemetery in the refugee camp. The two youths were reportedly active members of the Al-Aqsa Brigades, the military wing of Fatah.
Eyewitness reported that the Israeli military operation began around ten pm on Thursday. Israeli Special Forces broke into Balata refugee camp from all sides and occupied several houses.
Eyewitnesses said that the Israeli forces broke into the house of Mohamed Rashid 'Anab, 33, whose house is near to the house of the Al-Sanakreh family, and shot Ibrahim and his brother Ahmed from inside the house. The Israeli forces then arrested Mohamed 'Inab.
