Jaman dulu kanjeng Sultan Abdul Hamid (Diponegoro) rohimahullah, sangat prihatin

hati rasanya.

Mudah-mudahan Allah memberikan kekuatan dan kelapangan. Barokah Allah bagi para
mujahid yang SETIA di jalan Allah.

Subject: [is-lam] Iraq: Ketika Muslim Saling Bunuh

Assalamu'alaikum wr wb,

49. Al Hujuraat
10. Orang-orang beriman itu sesungguhnya bersaudara.
Sebab itu damaikanlah (perbaikilah hubungan) antara
kedua saudaramu itu dan takutlah terhadap Allah,
supaya kamu mendapat rahmat.

Beliau bersabda,
"Sesungguhnya dia juga berkeinginan untuk membunuh
lawannya itu." (Muttafaq
æalaih)

Saat ini di Iraq Muslim saling bunuh. 40 orang Syi'ah
tewas dibantai orang Sunni. Sebaliknya 17 orang Sunni
dibantai oleh orang Syi'ah.

Bukannya melawan penjajah AS, muslim justru saling
bunuh.

Rukun iman dan rukun Islam sama. Menyembah Tuhan dan
memiliki Nabi dan Kitab yang sama. Toh saling bunuh.

Shi'ite pilgrims attacked in Iraq, 40 killed By Mussab
Al-Khairalla
Tue Jan 30, 12:27 PM ET

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Bombers and gunmen killed 40
people in attacks on Shi'ite worshippers marking the
religious Ashura ritual on Tuesday, amid heightened
tension between Iraq's majority Shi'ite Muslim
community and once-dominant Sunni Arabs.

Sunnis too came under attack -- from mortar bombs that
rained down on the Adhamiya district in Baghdad,
killing 17, a police source said. A hospital doctor
put the death toll at 20.

The deaths on the final day of the annual week-long
Ashura ritual, highpoint of the Shi'ite religious
calendar, underlined widespread concerns about Iraq
sliding into sectarian civil war.

Tens of thousands of Iraqis have been killed in
sectarian bloodshed between Shi'ites and Sunnis since
an attack on a Shi'ite mosque in Samarra in February
2006.

Security was tight for fear of a repetition of suicide
bombings and other attacks on Ashura crowds of the
sort that killed 171 people in Baghdad and the holy
city of Kerbala in March 2004. This time Kerbala
escaped incident, and the bombers appeared to have
focused on other less protected Iraqi towns.

Fearing a possible strike by Sunni insurgents, Iraqi
authorities had deployed 11,000 police and soldiers to
Kerbala, focus of the commemoration that marks the
death in battle of the Prophet Mohammed's grandson
1,300 years ago.

Ashura has been a target in the past for radical Sunni
militants who view the Shi'ite community -- a majority
in Iraq but a minority in the Islamic world -- as
heretics.

The fears were fueled by the discovery of what Iraqi
officials said was a plot by a messianic Muslim cult
to target senior Shi'ite clerics in the holy city of
Najaf south of Baghdad at the climax of Ashura this
week.

Iraqi forces backed by U.S. tanks and warplanes fought
a day-long battle with the so-called "Soldiers of
Heaven" near Najaf on Sunday. Officials said the
cult's leader was killed.

Iraqi Defense Ministry spokesman Mohammed al-Askari
said on Tuesday the final toll from the battle was 263
killed. A total of 502 "Soldiers of Heaven" followers
had been arrested, including 210 wounded.

President Bush has said he will send 21,500
extra troops to Iraq in a bid to stamp out the Sunni
insurgency and sectarian violence but has run into
opposition from the new Democrat-dominated Congress as
well as public disapproval.

ATTACKS

In Tuesday's attacks against Shi'ites, 13 people were
killed, including three women and a teenage boy, and
39 wounded when a roadside bomb hit a procession in
the town of Khanaqin northeast of Baghdad, police
said.

They said a suicide bomber blew himself up among
worshippers outside a Shi'ite mosque in the town of
Balad Ruz, about 80 km (50 miles) south of Khanaqin,
killing 23 people and wounding 57.

Gunmen attacked two minibuses carrying Shi'ite
pilgrims in Baghdad's southwestern Bayaa district,
killing four and wounding nine.

On top of the deadly mortar attack on Sunnis in
northern Baghdad's Adhamiya district, the battle with
the Soldiers of Heaven added a new dimension to the
conflict.

Officials said the "ideologically perverted" group was
led by a man claiming to be the Mahdi, a messiah-like
figure in Islam.

Television footage shot on Monday and obtained by
Reuters showed dozens of bodies lying in what appeared
to be a dry irrigation canal that the fighters had
used as a trench in their camp hidden in orchards
outside Najaf.

The bodies of several women and children could be
seen.

Dozens of bullet casings and an empty AK-47 assault
rifle magazine lay near one man's body. A burned out
pickup truck with a mounted machinegun was nearby.

An army officer in the 8th Iraqi Division said his
forces had found 1,000 copies of a book about the
movement and its leader entitled "The Judge of
Heaven," and thousands of copies of a pamphlet
entitled "The Holy Coming."

Hundreds of thousands of Shi'ite pilgrims thronged the
narrow alleyways of Kerbala to commemorate the death
in battle in AD 680 of Imam Hussein, Mohammed's
grandson, an event that entrenched the schism between
Shi'ites and Sunnis.

Many waved flags while others beat their chests to the
sound of drums and religious chants.

"We are naturally worried by the threats of violence,
but despite this being a sad occasion I'm happy that
we were able to commemorate this event peacefully,"
said pilgrim Hayder Mohammed as he sipped a small
glass of tea.
