* Scala layer provides JVM method invocation service for static
methods of type (String)String, see Invoke_Scala.method in ML.

This long-projected facility is still a bit experimental. It assumes that
the method terminates without further interaction. Stability of the
Isabelle/Scala/PIDE process with add-on jobs still needs further
investigation, e.g. when heavy decision procedures are run. Foreign native
code is better not linked into the jEdit process, since it can cause hard
crashes of the JVM.
