If you are looking for a secure and efficient way to export Gmail emails to EML files, then you can open the email and download it. Repeat the same download option for each email you want to export. Other than that, you can use teh Thunderbird application for that. Add your Gmail account in Thunderbird and using ImportExportTools NG add-ons you can export them to EML files in bulk. Additionally, you can also use teh automated tool, one such is Advik Gmail Backup Tool for Windows.
