I'm just trying to make sure that we remain "open".  The ASF doesn't
like meetings and decisions going on in "back rooms" somewhere.  We
need to maintain an open forum for our projects.  I agree that it's
nice to be able to get together to talk some things through and it's a
nice way to build a community, but I know there have been times when
these off-line dicussions/meetings were frowned upon elsewhere within
the ASF in the past.  Just trying to avoid that.
