Hi Kevin! We discussed this earlier and originally decided to currently only go with a dev list to not fragment the mailing list too much. A mailing list with only 2 mails every 3 month is not really attracting additional users ;)
Another point for this is that Isis is mainly a tool for developers and not an 'end user' product.
