Just as a follow-up on this, Mike has now deployed the new version of the online demo to his server, so you can try this out.
There's full documentation at http://mmyco.co.uk:8180/isis-onlinedemo/ , or you can try it out the new JQueryMobile demo directly: 1. go to HTML viewer http://mmyco.co.uk:8180/isis-onlinedemo/logon.htmlviewer and register a new user 2. login to HTML viewer, click on "Demo" service, click on "Reset fixtures" action 3. now to go the JQMobile viewer's home page: http://mmyco.co.uk:8180/isis-onlinedemo/mobile/index.html 4. a button should be displayed 5. click on the button; at this stage you should be challenged for user name/password; enter the user/password registered in (1) 6. continue to browse to other objects It's far from perfect, but hopefully gives an idea of what the REST API can be used for.
