Help for wives of ISA detainees

KUALA LUMPUR: A woman who has no proper documentation and whose husband is
detained under the Internal Security Act (ISA) could get help from the the
Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (Suhakam).

Suhakam complaints and inquiries working group chairman Datuk Choo Siew Kioh
said on Monday that the commission would, through its Sabah office, find out
more about her situation.

"We are looking at it from the human rights aspects, both for her and her
one-year-old daughter," he said.
