Second Turkish relief airplane sent to Gaza

According to the foundation, the relief aid had been purchased in cooperation with the general union of Turkish businessmen and manufacturers (MUSIAD) and contained all necessary medical equipment to establish an integrated hospital in Gaza in addition to large quantities of foodstuff. Yavuz Daddah, the deputy head of IHH, stated the cash assistance to Gaza which was collected from Turkish citizens on Monday reached about $1,644,000. Daddah said that the number of the wounded exceeded 4,000 Palestinians 15% of them is threatened with death because of the lack of medicines and medical equipment necessary to save lives. In a letter sent to the IHH, the Palestinian ministry of health in Gaza presented its thanks to the people of Turkey especially the IHH for extending and continuing to extend aid to Gaza under heavy attacks of Israel. The letter underlined that the help of people of Turkey and the IHH increases the strength of the Palestinians in Gaza. The IHH rushed medical aid and cash donation to the Palestinian families affected in cooperation with the health ministry from the first moment Israeli strikes began.
