MUSLIMS TO DO TAUBATAN~NASOHA
June 4, 2011 by mthago
Allah is so merciful, compassionate and most forgiving. He loves those who are
making sins yet are willing to make repentance or taubah. Allah orders those
who
are transgressing His orders, to repent and He loves those who are fond of
making repentance. It is commonly said that to error is human. In other words
when you are a human, you must make mistakes and there is no human who does not
make mistakes. When we make mistakes, we must think that we are human. Because
we are human, we make mistakes and when we make mistakes, Allah orders us to do
repentance. When we are repenting because it is the order of Allah and our
intention is only to please Allah, Allah will loves us and when Allah loves us,
Allah will forgive our sins. When we make doa for forgiveness, our intention
should be only to please Allah but it is the common mistakes that we often made
is our intention is not to please Allah but for Allah to forgive our sins. When
we make a doa, we are making an actions and for every actions that we do, our
intention should be sincere and sincere mean, only to please Allah. Our great
grandfather, Adam makes doa for forgiven from Allah with profuse tearing for
nearly 40 years. After 40 years of making doa, Allah asked him, Oh Adam, do you
make doa for forgiveness because you want me to forgive you? Adam answered, yes
oh Allah, I want, You to forgive me. Allah told Adam to make doa for
forgiveness not with the intention for Allah to forgive him but with the
intention for Allah to be please with him. When Allah is pleased, Allah will
forgive all our sins. When Allah forgives all our sins we are clean as the
newly
born baby. When we make mistakes and we ask for forgiveness from Allah and from
the persons that we have made mistakes, we are human. When we make mistakes but
we do not want to ask forgiveness from Allah and from the persons that we have
make mistakes, we are not human but we are the followers of Iblis. When we make
mistakes only to Allah, we have to ask forgiveness only from Allah. When we
make
mistakes with other human being, we have to ask forgiveness not only from Allah
but also from the human being that we had made mistakes. When we are asking for
forgiveness, we must do it the way our Prophet Muhammad saw had shown to us to
do that is, by personally meeting him and ask for forgiveness from him and not
by sending SMS or via other electronic media.
When we spread some lies about someone, we are making sins to those persons and
also to Allah and we have to ask forgiveness from him personally and also from
Allah. Our sins which involve other persons will not be forgiven, until we ask
for forgiveness from those persons that we had make sins and from Allah. Our
sins will also not forgiven by Allah when we ask for forgiveness from that
persons by SMS or ways other than the ways shown by our Prophet Muhammad saw.
Our sins will also not forgiven by Allah, when our intention is not to please
Allah. Both Iblis and Adam is making mistakes but only Adam is asking
forgiveness from Allah but Iblis is not willing to do so. Once Prophet Musa
persuaded Iblis to ask forgiveness from Allah and it was told in the narration
of the story that Iblis do agree to ask for forgiveness from Allah. Prophet
Musa
was so happy and told Allah that Iblis is willing to ask forgiveness from Him.
Allah told Prophet Musa that Iblis will be forgiven only if Iblis is willing to
prostrate before the graves of Adam. When the condition was told to Iblis by
Prophet Musa, Iblis told Prophet Musa that he was not willing to ask
forgiveness
from Allah if he needs to prostrate before the grave of Adam. Iblis told
Prophet
Musa that he was not willing to prostrate before Adam when Adam was alive, how
could he prostrate before Adam, when Adam was already dead. Iblis is an
arrogant
and proud person and because of his arrogance and pride, he declines to ask
forgiveness from Allah when he needs to prostrate before the graves of Adam.
Allah knows the disease in the heart of Iblis is pride or arrogance. Iblis
think
he is superior to Adam because he is made from fire and Adam is made from clay.
Iblis does not know that when a person obey the order of Allah, Allah will
make
him superior and when a person disobeyed the orders of Allah, Allah will make
him inferior. The superiority of the creation of Allah does not depend on the
amount of wealth that he has or from what he has been made by Allah, but from
the actions that the creations have done. When Iblis, although made from fire,
disobeyed the orders of Allah, Iblis become degraded and inferior in the eyes
of
Allah and the entire creations. Why Allah orders Iblis to prostrate before Adam
when Iblis had been prostrating before Allah for so many years? Allah did not
order anyone to prostrate before anyone except before Him but in this case
Allah
ordered Iblis and the angels to prostrate before Adam. In this particular case,
Allah want to test Iblis and the angels and Allah want to eradicates the
diseases of Kibir and pride from the heart of the Iblis. If Iblis obeyed the
order of Allah, the Kibir in the heart of Iblis will be eliminated by Allah and
Iblis will be successful and if Iblis disobeyed the order of Allah, the Kibir
in
the heart of Iblis will increased and Iblis will be unsuccessful. Iblis had
been
prostrating before Allah for so many years but his prostration was not done
sincerely and instead of gaining humility with his solat, Iblis gains kibir and
pride. Iblis was prostrating before Allah with the intention, to become the
Khalifah of Allah. Because the intention of Iblis was not sincere, Iblis
prostrations and prayers was not accepted by Allah and the abundant prayers and
prostration done by Iblis did not instilled iman and humility, but instead
Iblis
acquired arrogance and prideful.
Both Iblis and Adam make mistakes as both are the creations of Allah. However
in
the actions taken after committing the mistakes, Adam and Iblis differ in their
actions. Iblis makes mistakes but refused to ask for forgiveness. Adam makes
mistakes, but willing to asked forgiveness from Allah. When Allah teaches Adam
on how to ask for forgiveness, Adam follows and as a result, Allah love Adam
and
forgive him. All humans are the children of Adam and we must follow Adam and
not
Iblis. When we make mistakes and we are reminded by someone with the permission
of Allah about the mistakes, we must immediately make repentance or taubah with
great earnest and sincerity to Allah. Making repentance or taubah with great
earnest and sincerity is known as taubatan~nasoha. I was given the name nasoha
by my grandmother Hajjah Siti Norleka so that whoever hears my names will
remember to make taubah. There are three conditions required when we want to
make repentance or taubah. One condition is we must have the feeling of
regretfulness; second condition is we must make taubah while we are doing good
deeds and the third condition is we promise not to return back to the bad
actions that we have done. Muslims, collectively have transgressed the very
first order of Allah, the order to deliver the Great Kalimah to the non-Muslims
in the whole world CLICK. Although, individually there is probably one or two
Muslims who are conveying this Great Kalimah to the non-Muslims but
collectively
Muslims have failed to conveys this Great Kalimah to the non-Muslims in the
whole world.
Collectively Muslims have transgressed the first order of Allah and so
collectively Muslims have acquired great sins. The collective great sins of the
Muslims have become the hindrance for Muslims to have the taufik to do the
great
work of Prophet Muhammad saw. When we are sinful, we will not have the taufik
or
guidance from Allah to do the great work of the Prophet saw. In order for
Muslims to do the great work of the Prophet saw, the collective sins of the
Muslims have to be forgiven by Allah. Muslims collectively must ask for
forgiveness and taubah from Allah, known as taubatan~nasoha.
There are so many sins that Muslims have commited, but there are no greater
sins
that Muslims do, either as individual or collectively, other than the sins of
neglecting the work of conveying the Great Kalimah to the non-Muslims. I will
be
sinful writing about Anwar Ibrahim if Anwar Ibrahim was not the person in the
sex video clip but I will be rewarded by Allah if the person in the sex video
clip is really Anwar Ibrahim CLICK. I have seen the video clip and I believe
that person is Anwar Ibrahim. If I am sinful, the sins will not be greater than
the sins of neglecting the work of conveying the Great Kalimah to the
non-Muslims. Anwar want to become the Prime Minister of Malaysia and he is a
public figure and whatever he does must be under the public scrutiny. If he is
not a good person and we choose him to become the Prime Minister of Malaysia,
we
are sinful and it is my responsibility and the responsibility of all who loves
Muslims and this beloved country to stop him from becoming the Prime Minister
of
MalaysiaCLICK. One commentator of article JALAN KELUAR UNTUK ANWAR IBRAHIM who
wants me to make taubah, was commenting that I’m now far deviated from the
truth
path and has to make taubatan~nasoha because I wrote the article. The article
was written because I love the Muslims, Malaysians and Anwar Ibrahim as brother
in Islam.
I solemnly request all Muslims to ask forgiveness from Allah for neglecting the
work of conveying the Great Kalimah to the non-Muslims. For all this while we
have not regarded the work of conveying the Great Kalimah to the non-Muslims as
our work. Previously none of the Muslims including me really knows the methods
and ways on how to convey the Great Kalimah to the non-Muslims. Many Muslims
think that the work is to convert the non-Muslims to Muslims and not to convey
the Great Kalimah to non-Muslims. When Muslims think that the work is to
convert
non-Muslims to Muslims, the work naturally appear to all Muslims as a very
difficult work and the work must require great knowledge about Islam and
require
great ability in talking and debating in order to convince the non-Muslims to
become Muslims. Many well-known so call preacher of Islam like the late Mr
Ahmad
Dedat from South Africa was a person known to be well versed about the Quran
and
the Bible. Instead of conveying the Great Kalimah, many Muslims think the work
is the work of converting non-Muslims to become Muslims and naturally many
Muslims think that the work is a very difficult work to be done by an ordinary
Muslims. Beside the wrong understanding of the work, many Muslims were
convinced
by members of Jamat Tabligh CLICK that we do not have to do dakwah to the
non-Muslims because Muslims nowadays are mostly non-practicing Muslims. Members
of Tabligh Jamat think that it is sufficient only to show good conduct to the
non-Muslims and when Muslims have good conduct, the non-Muslims will
automatically be converted to Islam. Members of Jamat Tabligh believe that it
is
sufficient to do the work of rectifying the Muslims only by asking Muslims to
spend for 40 days and 4 months in a year. What is the basis of their opinion is
really not known. There is nothing that I know in the Quran and Hadis that
allow
Muslims not to give dakwah to non-Muslims with the reason Muslims are not good
in their conduct as claimed by Jamat Tabligh.
Muslims generally have neglected the work of conveying the Great Kalimah to
non-Muslim. All Muslims have to admit that they have disobeyed Allah and they
have done injustice to themselves and they should do sincere repentance or
taubah known as taubatan~nasoha.
