শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়,অতি দয়ালু। আর বহু নবী ছিলেন, যাঁদের সঙ্গী-সাথীরা তাঁদের অনুবর্তী হয়ে জেহাদ করেছে; আল্লাহর পথে-তাদের কিছু কষ্ট হয়েছে বটে, কিন্তু আল্লাহর রাহে তারা হেরেও যায়নি, ক্লান্তও হয়নি এবং দমেও যায়নি। আর যারা সবর করে, আল্লাহ তাদেরকে ভালবাসেন। -সূরা আল-ইমরানঃ১৪৬ In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. And many a Prophet (i.e. many from amongst the Prophets) fought (in Allâh’s Cause) and along with him (fought) large bands of religious learned men. But they never lost heart for that which did befall them in Allâh’s Way, nor did they weaken nor degrade themselves.
