Do you want Canadian MPs promoting the interests of a foreign country, especially one that is flouting UN Resolutions? Shouldn't our MPs be standing up for justice and international law? Do we want our flag distorted in this way?

If the sight of our Canadian flag with that of a foreign country superimposed upon it is as upsetting to you as it is to us, please email Prime Minister Martin immediately and ask him to disband the Liberal Parliamentarians for Israel.

While there are many friendship clubs and associations on the Hill, the Liberal Members of Parliament for Israel go beyond friendship and identify themselves not as a Canada-Israel friendship group or association, but as a group "for Israel."
This is reflected in the attached flyer announcing the reception they are holding in the Westin Hotel on March 5th, where pre-eminence is clearly given to the Israeli flag above the Canadian flag.
I hope that you will feel as outraged as I am. Canada should always come first.

You will find attached an ad from the Liberals for Israel for an event to be held as part of the leadership review this weekend in Ottawa.
I'm sure that the existence of a group of parliamentarians clearly promoting the interests of any foreign country is of great concern to many Canadians. Furthermore, the country in question here is in violation of over 65 United Nations Resolutions and the Fourth Geneva Convention. Canada must support International Law without playing favourites.
This event is being co-sponsored by the Council for Israel and Jewish Advocacy, the Quebec Israel Committee, the Canadian Jewish Congress and National Jewish Campus Life. Has a public invitation been extended to Chinese Canadians, Arab Canadians, Italian Canadians, etc. to hold events at the Liberal Leadership Review? If not, this clearly indicates that a certain segment of the Canadian population is being allocated preferential treatment at the Liberal convention.
