Not at all. Their needs and functions are different and, as such,
their faculties and capacities are different too. Those who want
to keep them at par, they do not understand either of the two. In fact,
they are confused and running after the false shadows created by
western culture.
If you study the Qur'an correctly, it has set both the genders in
their most natural perspective. You all will get a well defined
position of each that gives excellence only on Taqwah and modesty. The
ignorant amongst us want to disturb that equilibrium.
