You are required to perform jihad. You cannot go out and do physical jihad (fighting as holy warriors) if your spirit is not right, in the right place with the right things in your heart. The journey in spiritual jihad begins with stopping complaining about the way things are. The second part is to accept that which Allah has willed for you, whatever the situations you encounter, you must accept that there are reasons you will not know or be able to figure out why these things are that way. The third part is to be thankful with whatever Allah does with you. Maybe you want to do one thing with your life, he has other plans for you. Rather than forcing your own will on your life, accept his will. Live to glorify him, to do things to please him, NOT because you think you will get a reward later for your deeds, but because you love him and want to serve him. When you have the correct outlook, values, character attributes inside, you
will be able to be led by Allah to do your outward jihad, which may involve being willing to sacrifice your life for your beliefs, to fight for his cause/ways. You must try to help those who are evil/ignorant to know the truth, if they reject it, at least you have tried. Allah only wants slain those who repeatedly refuse to accept his ways, those who perpetuate their evil and bring others down with them. If you need more info, you should do some searches on asceticism to understand the spiritual jihad.

RETURNING. THIS TOTALY MEANS TO ME THAT THE ONE WHO
DID NOT FINISH JIHAD SUGRA CANNOT EVEN REACH JIHAD
SUGRA. WHICH IS CLEARLY EVIDENT FROM QURAN IN SURAT
TAUBA AND SURAT MO7HAMMAD PEACE BE ON TO HIM. WALLAHU
