That's what happens when you have a talk show. But what is shocking to me is how the world's greatest republic is falling apart with the support of so many people in my own country. As in the trials of O.J. Simpson and Robert Blake, the facts don't seem to matter. They matter to me.
One of the great paradoxes of our time is the America of William Bendix, just a little over 60 years ago, and the America of George Bush, living under that same beautiful flag but in different countries.

In the president's case, he not only failed to accept responsibility for a decision that led to the deaths of thousands of people, he walked off the White House stage and left it to the authors of his own presidential commission to face the music.
