Salaam (Peace be upon you), Andrea (Saleema)   "To God belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on the earth. Whether you show what is in your own selves or conceal it, God will call you to account for it. Then He forgives whom He wills and punishes whom He wills, for God is Able to do all things."  (Qur'an 2:284).

***************************************************************************
{Invite (mankind, O Muhammad ) to the Way of your Lord (i.e. Islam) with wisdom (i.e. with the Divine Inspiration and the Qur'an) and fair preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better. Truly, your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His Path, and He is the Best Aware of those who are guided.}
(Holy Quran-16:125)

{And who is better in speech than he who [says: "My Lord is Allah (believes in His Oneness)," and then stands straight (acts upon His Order), and] invites (men) to Allah's (Islamic Monotheism), and does righteous deeds, and says: "I am one of the Muslims."} (Holy Quran-41:33)

The prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "By Allah, if Allah guides one person by you, it is better for you than the best types of camels." [al-Bukhaaree, Muslim]

The prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)  also said, "Whoever calls to guidance will have a reward similar to the reward of the one who follows him, without the reward of either of them being lessened at all."
[Muslim, Ahmad, Aboo Daawood, an-Nasaa'ee, at-Tirmidhee, Ibn Maajah]

A friend passed on the following bulletin regarding a trip to Israel that
Senator Mark Dayton is about to make.  Please call his office in Washington,
D.C. (202-224-3244) and/or Minneapolis (612-727-5220), and ask to speak with
Mark Jones or Mike Powers in Washington, or with Nate Arch in Minneapolis.
Then express your disappointment that it appears Senator Dayton will not be
meeting with any Palestinians, and urge him to rectify that imbalance when
he visits Israel/Palestine.
If you prefer to e-mail, the e-mail link is found at the Senator's website:
www.dayton.senate.gov

"Senator Mark Dayton D-MN said he will travel to Israel
on an educational trip next week [presumably the week of
May 1] with several leaders of Minnesota's Jewish community.
Details of the trip were not released for security reasons,
his office said.  Dayton said he will pay for his own travel
expenses.  Joining Dayton will be Steven Silberfarb,
executive director of the Jewish Community Relations
Council of Minnesta and the Dakotas; Tom Borman, who
is on the board of directors at Temple Israel in
Minneapolis, and Marvin Feuer from the American Israel
Public Affairs Committee."
