The Bounty of Allah

May 4

Verily those devoted to Allah shall have no fear, nor shall they grieve.  Those who believe and strive in the way of Allah shall rejoice both in this world and in the life of the hereafter.  Nothing shall alter the Word of Allah; that is the Supreme Triumph. {Jonah 10:62-64}

I saw a man in paradise for a deed as simple as cutting down a tree that stood in the middle of a road, causing wayfarers much distress.

{The Prophet Muhammad, as reported by Ibn Umar, Al Hadis, 1:325}

Souladvisor wrote: The rejoicing in this world does not necessarily mean that the believer will not endure any form of hardship or fear, as in an emotional experience.  It is the peace of mind and soul that is accompanied with knowing that Allah is with his servant in his struggle to overcome that which afflicts him.  A Believer struggles to overcome his afflictions in such a way that will bring the pleasure of his Creator upon him (even in what appears to be a small matter).  Due to the servant of Allah's endurance and patience during these trials, only accepting his fate (completely submitting to Allah) to attain Allah's pleasure, Allah will bring him a grand reward in the life to come also.

Ya Allah, that which You bring can only benefit those who submit to You. May You choose us to be among those who gain Your pleasure.

O Allah, O Sufficer of the isolated and weak and Protector against terrifying affairs! Offenses have isolated me, so there is none to be my companion. I am too weak for Thy wrath and there is none to strengthen me. I have approached the terror of meeting Thee and there is none to still my fear. I beg for Your Mercy!  Ameen

{Invite (mankind, O Muhammad ) to the Way of your Lord (i.e. Islam) with wisdom (i.e. with the Divine Inspiration and the Qur'an) and fair preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better. Truly, your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His Path, and He is the Best Aware of those who are guided.}
(Holy Quran-16:125)

{And who is better in speech than he who [says: "My Lord is Allah (believes in His Oneness)," and then stands straight (acts upon His Order), and] invites (men) to Allah's (Islamic Monotheism), and does righteous deeds, and says: "I am one of the Muslims."} (Holy Quran-41:33)

The prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "By Allah, if Allah guides one person by you, it is better for you than the best types of camels." [al-Bukhaaree, Muslim]

The prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)  also said, "Whoever calls to guidance will have a reward similar to the reward of the one who follows him, without the reward of either of them being lessened at all."
[Muslim, Ahmad, Aboo Daawood, an-Nasaa'ee, at-Tirmidhee, Ibn Maajah]
