A Widow Should Not Remarry ? Says the Bible

The widow who is really in need and left all alone puts her hope in God and continues night and day to pray and to ask God for help. But the widow who lives for pleasure is dead even while she lives (1 Timothy 5:5-6)

What are the options left for the widow? Perhaps the church can answer that question for us. Another point to my understanding is that why the same restriction is not placed on the widower. Isn?t that discrimination. The Christian world is quick to point out the alleged discriminations that the Muslim women have to face in Islam. Or is it more to the point that the Christian world does not take the Bible seriously with relation to their day to day affairs.

{And who is better in speech than he who [says: "My Lord is Allah (believes in His Oneness)," and then stands straight (acts upon His Order), and] invites (men) to Allah's (Islamic Monotheism), and does righteous deeds, and says: "I am one of the Muslims."} (Holy Quran-41:33)

The prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "By Allah, if Allah guides one person by you, it is better for you than the best types of camels." [al-Bukhaaree, Muslim]

The prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)  also said, "Whoever calls to guidance will have a reward similar to the reward of the one who follows him, without the reward of either of them being lessened at all."
