Subject: GET THE FACTS RIGHT

Assalamu Alaikum,

There is no excuse to wobble up concrete facts with rhetoric and polemics, which, anybody having excess to the internet and satellite TV can verify within minutes these days.

The family members of the London suicide bombers have appeared on the British TV channels and have verified the identity of the bombers and have condemned the ideology of hatred which turned their loved ones into killers of innocent people. That the three of them had visited Pakistan has been verified by the Pakistani authorities too. Whether we like it or not, or whether we would like to pretend otherwise, there is this ideology of terror, which is part and parcel of the Muslim world, and which, before targeting the West had been eating away the Muslim societies for the last three hundred years or so.

If you don't believe it then look over your shoulder. Iraq is not far away from Abu Dhabi.

From Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Syria these lunatics who think that they have the exclusive passage rights to Heaven, have crossed the borders into Iraq to cause destruction and carnage in this Muslim country. They have been breastfed with hatred, not only towards non-Muslims, but also towards Muslims, who do not share and will never share their rotten ideology of terror. But what has happened, one may ask, to the  "progressive, moderate and impartial" Arab media? The day when 32 innocent children were blown up in Baghdad, every single Western TV channel carried the news. Al-Jazeera, in its main evening news bulletin of the day did not mention a single word that this time innocent children have fallen victims to the renewed practices of Al-Jahiliyyah. One wonders, who benefits from this cover-up??? What if these children had been victims of terror attack in Qatar (God-forbid) instead of the Shi'ite area in Baghdad? One can imagine for how many days Al-Jazeera would have carried out the coverage of the carnage.

If the Western media are stereotyping the Muslims, the Muslims too have rarely indulged into soul searching. Whenever such tragedies occur, it is always convenient and easy to kick the ball into the court of the Western media and the Zionists. Therefore, no question arises to find solution to the problems which are home-grown. So long as we throw our rage on the Western leaders and the Zionists, it does not worry us at all, that this is not helping us to find solutions to our own problems. Hence, the Palestinian issue remains where it was 55 years ago.

The West does not make any pretences that the Zionists have its unreserved support. All the pretences are emanating from the Arab countries, who go behind the back of the Muslims and enter into secret agreements, sometime, of selling over al-Quds, and sometime of establishing a Common Market with the Zionist State. This double standard and hypocrisy too is very much the part of life of the Muslims themselves. Dare I say from when??? If I were to disclose, then Br. Ali Hasan might decide not to circulate this message, lest if offends some of his group members.

A DESERT STORY

A fleeing Taliban, desperate for water, was plodding through the Afghanistan desert when he saw something far off in the distance.

Hoping to find water, he walked toward the object, only to find a little old Jewish man sitting at a card table with neckties laid out on it.

The Arab asked, "My thirst is killing me. Do you have water?"

The Jewish man replied, "I have no water. Would you like to buy a tie?   They are only $150. This one goes very nicely with your robes."

The Arab shouted, "Idiot! I do not need an overpriced tie. I need water!"

"OK," said the old Jew, "it does not matter that you do not want to buy a tie. I will show you that you have not offended me. If you walk over that hill to the east for about two miles, you will find a lovely restaurant.

Go! Walk that way! The restaurant has all the water you need!"

The Arab staggered away toward the hill and eventually disappeared.

Four hours later the Arab came crawling back to where the Jewish man was sitting at his table.

The Jew said, "I told you, about two miles over that hill. Could you not find it?"

"I found it all right," rasped the Arab. "Your brother won't let me in without a tie!"

{Invite (mankind, O Muhammad ) to the Way of your Lord (i.e. Islam) with wisdom (i.e. with the Divine Inspiration and the Qur'an) and fair preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better. Truly, your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His Path, and He is the Best Aware of those who are guided.}
(Holy Quran-16:125)

{And who is better in speech than he who [says: "My Lord is Allah (believes in His Oneness)," and then stands straight (acts upon His Order), and] invites (men) to Allah's (Islamic Monotheism), and does righteous deeds, and says: "I am one of the Muslims."} (Holy Quran-41:33)

The prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "By Allah, if Allah guides one person by you, it is better for you than the best types of camels." [al-Bukhaaree, Muslim]

The prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)  also said, "Whoever calls to guidance will have a reward similar to the reward of the one who follows him, without the reward of either of them being lessened at all."
