Assalam mualaikum all Muslim brothers & sisters,
I am a food scientist & technologist from Malaysia, developing an
agro biotechnology park on 30 acre industrial land, to be mobilized
before the end of this year. Seven major biotechnology activities
are planned covering biotechnology R&D, desiccated coconut
manufacturing, coconut milk powder processing plant, coconut shell
activated carbon plant, herbal extraction plant, meat processing
plant and coconut based food processing plant. The biotechnology
park is the nucleus for the following development, first five year,
making the coconut sector a viable industry through biotechnology;
second five year,Islamic biotechnology development; third five year,
the application of biotechnology to eradicate poverty from the
Islamic community and to develop basic Islamic aqidah.
The project requires initial funding of USD 20.0 million in the
first five year, with strategic Islamic thinking, the project
manufacturing sector can generate confortable income in the third
year. Allah's willing, I have sufficient assets to create funds
required through conventional banking arrangement. However, as a
practising Muslim I want this project to be free from any form of
riba whatsoever. In many instances even Islamic financial
institutions offer services to the Muslim business community with
well camoflauged 'riba' system.
Dear brothers & sisters, I will appreciate your views and proposal
on this issue. I welcome those who are scientist & biotechnologist
like me, or even a financial person. I am ever willing to provide
you with further details on my project if there is a requirement.

The prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also said, "Whoever
calls to guidance will have a reward similar to the reward of the one who
follows him, without the reward of either of them being lessened at all."
