Mr. Blair,
There is something I do not understand. Perhaps you will care to explain.
It relates to your now famous rules of the game speech, in which you articulated that because of the London bombings the rules of the game have changed. You were directly referring to the games of civil liberties, human rights, freedom of speech and freedom of association; the same games that you, George Bush and your coalition partners are trying to impose on the rest of the world under the banner of Democracy.
You might have heard, Shami Chakrabarti, of Liberty ask since when has human rights and civil liberties been a game? I ask, When it comes to western civilization, has there ever been a time when human rights and civil liberties have not been a game? Furthermore, I ask, Has there ever been any rules to the game?
Where were those rules Mr. Blair, when Sykes and Picot were carving up the Middle East in 1916? It was this game that they played that resulted in all the conflict that we have witnessed in that part of the world for the past century. It was this game that tore apart the Islamic super state and established nation states and tyrannies in its place.
I ask you again, where were the rules when your predecessors betrayed the Palestinian people by handing over their land and your armies weapons to the Zionist entity? Some of your very own British citizens George Galloway and Ken Livingstone still speak out against the brutal oppression of the Palestinian people by the murderous Israeli army. Have you not heard them justify the Palestinian bombing operations there? Have you not heard them say that the Iraqi resistance to the Coalition troops is legitimate? Will your changed rules apply to them?
Perhaps you forget about the rules Mr. Blair when, at the behest of George Bush, you sent your army along with Americas off to Iraq to indulge in something you both love and covet: war games. You said at the time, I remember, that Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction and that Saddam Hussein had ties with Al Qaeda. I never quite understood how you reached your conclusion on this. Faulty intelligence you said? Well, Mr. Blair. If you could have been fooled by faulty intelligence then it stands to reason that your own individual intelligence is faulty. Is it not time to step down Mr. Blair?
Back to Iraq , where more than one million children have been killed since 1992. Where, after an illegal and immoral invasion in 2004 , more than one hundred and thirty thousand innocent civilians have been killed as a direct result of Britain s and America s war games in that country. Your war gamers or soldiers as you call them did not find those WMDs and we were not at all surprised. Were you? Then the story changed to the Iraqi people are now better off without Saddam. My television screen tells a different story. The only people that are better off are the British and American contractors. The government of Haliburton is better off. The Carlyle group is much better off. Will you be working for them after you leave office Mr. Blair? You surely deserve a high position with them- and Bush Senior, Cheney and Rice will be more than willing to personally vouch for you. Your unstinting loyalty towards them speaks for itself.
You still, despite overwhelming evidence that you lied, continue to justify the British and American presence in Iraq . You call it a war and we call it terror. You call them soldiers and we call them terrorists in uniform.
How will your changed rules apply to you Mr. Blair?
Both Muslims and non-Muslims are saying that it is unjust to send refugees like Abu Qatada, Abu Hamza and other outspoken clerics and activists to countries where they fled from and where they might be tortured or killed. You answer them by saying that you have negotiated certain agreements that will secure the safety of the deportees. What faith you must have, Mr. Blair, in those tyrants and oppressors to trust them so much? Or is it faith? Have you not heard how countless civilians have been tortured and killed in those lands? What nobility of character must those despots know to suddenly have a change of heart and allow their most outspoken critics the freedom and liberty to practice their religion in peace?
What agreements did you have in place when your secret services handed over Mr. Wahab Al Rawi a British citizen, to be tortured by their American counterparts in the Gambia ? I ask you, what agreements did you have in place, Mr. Blair, with the Uzbekistan Intelligence services who were torturing and killing young Muslim men and the passing their confessions to your foreign services? Your ambassador Mr. Craig Murray, who questioned your policies of using intelligence gained from torture and murder and who later accused your government of being complicit in those crimes against humanity was later fired from his post. Do you still expect us to trust your decision to deport our people to those murderers and tyrants with whom you have made these illusionary agreements ? Or is it the case that you have allowed yourself to be deceived by faulty information from a faulty foreign service ?
I remember the Russians advising you and Bush not to go to war in Afghanistan and Iraq . That you will end up in a quagmire over there. The Russians were half right. Not only are you already in a quagmire in those lands, but also back in your own country. Your people are no longer willing to be fooled by your reckless adventures and are now asking damning questions, to which you can only reply with blatant lies. You are fast becoming a lame duck Prime Minister with many in your own party, baying for your blood and wishing you will make an early exit from your post.
How convenient was it for you for your political and media spin doctors to weave the events of July in such a way, that today you are given a free license to push through your new inhumane legislations. You no longer have to endure harsh criticism in the House of Commons when trying to push though all your draconian laws. You see, all that is needed now is for you to say that the rules have changed and your fiercest opponents will now stand shoulder to shoulder with you. Even the public, after the July bombings, have resigned themselves to a situation that they cannot control and will now concede to anything you throw at them. Ripe conditions for your very own Patriot act.
That is not where your arrogance stops Mr. Blair. For you have now gathered your band of moderate Imams and so called "Muslim" politicians and embarked on a crusade against any Muslim that dares to speak the truth. How dare you tell us Muslims who we should and should not listen to? How dare you suggest that we should be led by local home grown Imams educated under a syllabus devised by your Government? Where do you get off telling us who we should praise or not praise? Did you know that in your "so called" civilised world, your laws allow your people to praise and worship Satan if they so wish? What will you be telling us next Mr. Blair- to change our Quran to something more acceptable to western standards? Your arrogance knows no bounds. Remember though, that one day, you too will be humiliated like your master, George Bush, has been humiliated by his own people over his dismal failure in Iraq and more recently in New Orleans .
A word of advice for you and your partners in crime Mr. Blair. Keep your democracy, your centre-left socialism and your way of life to yourself. Keep it in your own land and out of ours. Your affair rests with God. Leave us to determine our own way. Leave us to shape our nation and chose our own leaders. We desire nothing else but peace in this life and in the next. We are here to establish Islam Mr. Blair, not to play games.
