SPECIAL NOTE ON YOUTH TRAINING
Asslamualykum wa rehmatulla wa brakutuhoo.
With & In the name of Allah the REHMAN and the RAHEEM.
YOUTH IS IMPOTANT----------IT IS THE FUTURE OFISNA& ICNA_MAS
Every unit of these aand all Muslim & Islamic organisations SHOULD HAVE YOUTH INCHARGE
The YOUTH INCHARGES,IN TURN SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE TO UNIT PRESIDENT.
IN THE FOLLOWING WE ARE ENDAVORING THE FEW SALIENT FEATURES,BY NO MEANS ,THESE AREN THE COMPREHESIVE LIST.-----------------AT THIS POINT OF THE GROWTH .of the Muslim/Islamic organisation, THE MOST IMPORTANT:

AFFINITY,APTITUDE,ATTITUDE
These are self explanatory ---terms-----but they need to be DEFINED in the prevailing atomosphere of the Muslim organisational context .
1)The youth in charges: do they have any adolescent children----------------as a FATHERS ,WHAT IS THEIR EXPERINCE ? Did they have SWEET EXP.OR
THEY ARE CONSTANTLY GRUMBLING ABOUT THE AMERICAN CULTURE !
HAVE THEY ,AS ,PARENTS,(BOTH DAD&MOM ),THEY HAVE KIDS ,,who LOVE to learn from QURAN& SUNNA. WERE THEY SUCCESSSFUL IN SUCH EXPERINCE?
2)BACK HOME(INDIAN SUBCONTINENENT ,MIDDLE EAST,)--------------DID THEY WERE TRAINED in STUDENT ORGANISATION ?
3) THEY WANT TO DITTO COPY-- ---or ----- --THEY WANT TO LEARN FROM GOOD EXPERIENCEE, WHEREVER IT OBTAINABLE, AVOIDING the

PHENOMENA OF HANGING OUT
> URGE TO LEARN.
>URGE TO LEAD/LEADERSHIP
>URGE TO FIND ATTRACTIVE MATE prosperous or prosperity promising (WIFE or HUSBAND )
>URGE TO FIND A HIGH PAYING JOB.
The Youth Incharges ,with the force of their personality &inspiration and tact, should come up
with such programmes
Modern context of YOUTH TRAINING
(1) Youth is a very volatile group but our real hope they should be trained in modern context of providing leadership.
(2) Unfortunately the model of speech making[the rethorical excellence ] dominatesthe leadership
development process .
(3) Modern context of leadership are:
a) Ability to analyze a complex situation
b) Develop strategies to come up grip with difficult situation
c) Resource formation: 1. Human 2. Material 3. Financial
d) Ability to plan on a short term and long term basis
e) Once a plan is formed ability to execute
f) Ability to lead a group who is very diverse in strategic thinking
g) Ability to maintain cohesive ness in a diverse strategically divided group
h) Ability to control emotion
i) Ability to present a complex strategy in simple language so that common man can understand and participate in action
j) Ability to sacrifice on a distant basis some criteria selection to major this to train youth, we should train Youth Trainers. ICNA should develop 10 ten youth trainers, we should give vigorous training to this youth trainers, and we should develop first a Syllabus in the modern context of training described as above.
k) Youth program should conduct only by approved Youth Trainers according to the syllabus developed.

The key is future needs;not the present needs;especially post 9/11/2001 EMERGING NEEDS.
************* [ C &D] Media Dept &youth dept are highly interrelated.
BothISNA &ICNA-MAS should have a brainstorming session, past training&Dawah to non muslim youth &media incharges, present & past [experience &new blood& ideas should be used in making policy].
Once a policy is made, at least five years be given for the policy to fruitify.
Our central TRAING PROGs should be BASED UPON OUR FUTURE NEEDS
The at random approach the rather ,the convenience of the chairmen of the Dept. should be curtalaid.
