Assalam alaikum, Allah Almighty said, "...if you do not realise this, then ask those who have knowledge of the Message"
The context of the verse shows that the previous Prophets sent to humankind were nothing more than people who were blessed with inspiration, and those who carry the message of these Prophets can verify this e.g. the true followers of Prophet Moses or the followers of Prophet Jesus. The relevance however isn't on the message itself, but on finding answers to questions or doubts. For it is here where Allah Almighty encourages those who do not at first know or understand, to question such that they can know and understand. That is why when Prophet Muhammad was asked about a certain group of people who faced a problem he said, 'Why didn't they ask, if they did not know (the answer?)? Indeed the cure for a person who does not know is to ask a question' [Abu Dawood #336, #337; Ibn Maja #572] May Allah Almighty have mercy and bless us all with the ability to question when we seek answers, amen. fi amanillah, assalam alaikum, f ------------------------ Yahoo!
