Assalmu alaikum, Please do read my Islamic article of interest to everyone and inshaAllah it would bring out the truth as such as in my opinion is correct. Errors are my own and do send in your reply back to this essay. Sincerely, Your brother in Islam. ......................................................
Salam to all readers... The Muslim world is divided into 57 nations or so as given by the O.I.C.(About the O.I.C--From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. The flag of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC)The Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) is an inter-governmental organization with a Permanent Delegation to the United Nations. It groups 57 mostly Islamic nations in the Middle East, North and West Africa, Central Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Indian subcontinent, (with the exceptions of Albania, Guyana, and Surinam). The OIC is dedicated to serving the interests of the world's estimated 1.4 billion Muslims. Combined GDP of OIC is 5,505,810 millions dollars.) And in this 57 Muslim Nations is the component and basis of the Modern Kalifiya Islamiah which in accord to our modern civilization in 15 Islamic Hijiyah and meaning. This is only my own opinion... During the Islamic Dinasty of previous genrations namely starting with the Ummayah, then the Abbasiyah and the Fathimiah and lastly The Osamniyah were the very foundation that evolve into our modern Islamic Nations.... It is from here the creation of the Islamic Nations with all the different languages, cultures, religious ethics and differing Islamic school of Thoughts in our very own 57 Muslim Nations with the total population of well over a billion Mulsims inhabitants is truly unique. The total estimate of world population is well over 3 billion. The ahli kitab namely the Christians and the Jews are the second largest inhabitants of the believers on Monotheist, or One God. The Ahli Kitab is not Gog and Magog as contrary to some who believe them to be. The Muslims have as of now 3 differing School of thoughts and living in the 57 Muslim nations. The largest sects or School of Thought are the Ahli Sunnah from the 4 madhhabs, then the Wahbbiyahs then the Syiah. Each Muslim Nations has their very own seat of government, the Ulil Amri of their country and representing as a true Kahlifah of their own Nations. This is a single modern Islamic civilization that is unique, with all its veritable varities, cultures, languages etc.It is not such never been seen before nor was it like that of the four previous Khaliphates. In surah alAnbiya is written as: This ummah is one Ummah....(Inna hazihi Ummatan wahidatan...etc.) It clearly shows the uniqeness that the Muslim nations in our modern world represent the last of the Khalifiyah Islam in this 15th. Hijriyah. The Osmaniyah Dinasty represent the last of the vast areas of where Muslims are living today, and the Kingdom is South east asia such as in the ASEAN Countries constitute the 57 nations as mention by the OIC. In the field of brotherliness, we as Muslims have garnered much to our own brotherhoodness (Hablum mina LLah, wa hablum minas Nas) and in the connection with the Ahli Kitab and others came the words Hablu minas Nas. In my opinion this is the actual Khlifiyah Islam that represent the continuation of the previous Khalifiyah of the Osmaniyah etc.. is and in actual facts a differing nations of the 57 Muslims Countries of today and as it is with all the differing unique cultures, politics and economy, way of lives and languages....It is in my opinion is what is the present state of Khalifiyah in a sense a unique state, a modern well adjusted and balanced Muslims Population who are all out for Peace and Harmony rathe then the other way round. To seek for peace is better then bloodshed, to forge for friendships is better then to make enemies. Allah Knows The Best. Article written below is by the Honorable Harun Yahya in harunyahya.com that I extracted, should be read by readers as it would give us light of truth:"According To The Koran, Muslims, Jews And Christians Should Live In Friendship It is evident there are ample grounds for an alliance between the "People of the Book" and Muslims. This is also very evident in the Koran. In the relevant verses of the Koran, there is a significant difference between the People of the Book and the idolaters. This is especially emphasized in the area of social life. For example, it is said concerning the idolaters: "(they) are unclean, so after this year they should not come near the Masjid al-Haram (Kaaba)." (Surat at-Tawba: 28) Idolaters are people who obey no divine law, have no moral precepts and who are capable of committing every kind of degrading and perverse action without hesitation. But while they basically rely on God's revelation, the People of the Book have moral precepts and know what is lawful and what is not. For this reason, if one of the People of the Book cooks some food, it is lawful for Muslims to eat it. In the same way, permission has been given for a Muslim man to marry a woman from among the People of the Book. On this subject God commands: Today all good things have been made lawful for you. And the food of those given the Book is also lawful for you and your food is lawful for them. So are chaste women from among the believers and chaste women of those given the Book before you, once you have given them their dowries in marriage, not in fornication or taking them as lovers. But as for anyone who disbelieve, his actions will come to nothing and in the hereafter he will be among the losers. (Surat al-Mai'da: 5) These commands show that bonds of kinship may be established as a result of the marriage of a Muslim with a woman from the People of the Book, and that those on each side of the union can accept an invitation to a meal. These are the fundamentals that will ensure the establishment of equitable human relationships and a happy communal life. Since the Koran enjoins this equitable and tolerant attitude, it is unthinkable that a Muslim could take an opposing view. Monasteries, Churches And Synagogues Should Be Respected Another important fact we learn from the Koran is that Muslims must respect Jewish and Christian places of worship. In the Koran, the places of worship of the People of the Book, i.e. monasteries, churches and synagogues, are mentioned as places of worship protected by God. if God had not driven some people back by means of others, monasteries, churches, synagogues and mosques, where God's name is mentioned much, would have been pulled down and destroyed. God will certainly help those who help Him - God is All-Strong, Almighty. (Surat al-Hajj: 40 ) This verse shows all Muslims the importance of respecting and protecting the sanctuaries of Christians and Jews. Indeed, in the Koran God commands Muslims not to harbor any enmity towards any people. In many verses, friendship is recommended, even with idolaters. God even refers to the idolaters at war with Muslims in this way: "If any of the idolaters ask you for protection, give them protection until they have heard the words of God. Then convey them to a place where they are safe." (Surat at-Tawba: 6) Jews and Christians, however, are much closer to Muslims than idolaters. Each of these religions has its book, that is, they are subject to a revelation sent down by God. They know what is right and what is wrong, what is lawful and what is unlawful. They know they will give an account to God, and they love and revere His prophets. This shows that Muslims and the people of the book can live easily together and cooperate. The Common Enemies of the Faith Another important fact that draws Christianity, Judaism and Islam together is the atheist philosophies that are so influential in our time. Among the best-known and most harmful philosophies of our age can be cited materialism, communism, fascism, anarchism, racism and secular humanism. Many people who believed in the fake diagnoses, deceptive descriptions and explanations of these ideas on the universe, society and man, have lost their faith or doubted it. What is more, these ideologies have dragged people, societies and nations into great crises, conflicts and wars. Their share of the blame for the pain and troubles that humanity suffers today is immense. While they deny God and creation, all the above-mentioned ideologies are based on a common framework, a so-called scientific basis; Charles Darwin's theory of evolution. Darwinism constitutes the basis of atheist philosophies. This theory claims that living beings have evolved as a result of coincidences and by means of a struggle for life. Therefore, Darwinism sends this deceptive message to people: "You are not responsible to anyone, you owe your life to coincidences, you need to struggle, and if necessary to oppress others to succeed. This world is one of conflict and self-interest". and also.......in his conclusion he wrote: "Conclusion: "Let us Rally to a Common Formula" At a time when anti-religious, atheist and materialist ideologies surround the world, similarities among theistic religions should be emphasized, and cooperation should be established for common aims. Concerning the People of the Book, God gives Muslims a command in the Koran; to rally to a common formula: O People of the Book! Let us rally to a common formula to be binding on both us and you: That we worship none but God; that we associate no partners with Him; that we erect not, from among ourselves, Lords and patrons other than God. (Surat Al 'Imran, 64) This is indeed our call to Christians and Jews: As people who believe in God and follow His revelations, let us rally to a common formula - "faith". Let's love God, Who is our Creator and Lord, and follow His commands. And let us pray God to lead us to an even straighter path. When Muslims, Christians and Jews rally to a common formula this way; When they understand that they are friends not enemies, When they see that the real enemy is atheism and paganism, then the world will become a very different place. The fighting that has raged for ages, enmities, fears - and terrorist attacks - will come to an end, and a new civilization based on love, respect and peace will be established upon this "common formula". Suirah Ar Rome relates the Christian world would survive from the army of the then Persian Empire. Verse 1 to 5 of the same Surah tells us about the prediction of during the time of Holy Prsphet... 1. Alif Lam Mim. 2. The Roman Empire has been defeated 3. In the land close by; but they, (even) after (this) defeat of theirs, will soon be victorious --4.Within a few years. With Allah is the division. In the Past and in the Future; on that day shall the Believers rejoice --5.With the Help of Allah.... What I gathered from this Holy Verse is that in later days The Western Christian Countries would become one great power after the decline of Islamic Dynasty...in this we could refer to the the colonizing achievements and activities of the past Colonial Powers. There is but one verse which I like to refer to as such an accomplishments by them, this is verse 9 and 10: (9) Do they not travel through the earth, and see what was the end of those before thm? They were superior to them in strength: they tilled the soil and populated it in greater numbers than these have done ....( and so on) (10)In the long run evil in the extreme will be the End of those who do evil; for that they rejected the signs of Allah, and held them up to ridicule... Thus however was the circumstances when the time did come Allah would end all that was evil and in the very end then cam the freedom and independent for the former colonies as we have seen soon after the Second World War. If I were to take as parable the circumstances that led tro the divisional of Muslim Coutnries by thye former Colonizers these is one which I could refer to:Verse (48) It is Allah who send the Winds, and they raise the clouds: then does He spreads them in the sky as He wills, and break them into fragments..." Here is a special parable significant that as Allah Wills it that Allah break the clouds into fragments. And in verse 22 tells a related answer to our topic: (22) And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the variations in your languages and your colours; verily in tat are signs for those who know..... From this verse I gathered the parable of the divivions and all things related to the cicumstances that lead to my belief that the Khalifiyah Islamiah has already been establised with the form that we have today, with all its unique modern tenets rather than like the past we many of Muslims have assumed. Allah Knows the Best.... One of the said Holy Verse which I would refer to the refernces to the early 14 Century onwards when every vessels had to depend on the flowing tide of the Winds. In verse 46 tells us the various Benevolence send by Allah.... the Wind which the ancient vessels with heavy masts to sail forth to the East and West for new frontier. 46. Among His Signs is this, that He sends the Winds, as heralds of Glad Tidings, giving you a taste of His (Grace and) Mercy,- that the ships may sail (majestically) by His Command and that ye may seek of His Bounty: in order that ye may be grateful. If we look into the very core of all the chastisements send down to those who went against the very conscience of Humannely Love and that which God has given into every hearts of thinking man, we would come to understand and realize the real issue of this problem: that many among us are a selfish lots and greedy. From the same Surah of verse 9 and ten the revelation is definite and exactly matches the evils that some man did, the past and the present.Or the future. 9.It was not Allah Who wronged them, but they wronged their own souls. 10. In the long run evil in the extreme will be the End of those who do evil; for that they rejected the Signs of Allah, and held them up to ridicule. Perhaps we would one day realize the fact that among us we did have lost that touch of good conscience, of love and kindness to our fellow human beings. Many have chosen to choose evil ways to make ends meet, to think that they are above others in sense of their wealth and children and to condemn the guiltless individuals who only have their daily means to survive. So we as Muslims must take the first priority that all that goodness in our hearts and in our very own conscience should not be made darken by the chasing of materialistic value. Only this could prevent the further deterioration of our maral values and assist those aound us to help themselves for a better and peaceful world in the future. Haru Yahya wrote on the subject of the Anti-Christ---the Dajjal as follows:"This subject needs to be considered in a most rational manner: Why should living in peace and security be Dajjalism? Why should centuries of fear and savagery, and catastrophes, be necessary in order for the Messiah to appear? Why should there be no peace, and why should war be sought to be continued, until the coming of the Messiah? Why should two-thirds of Jews have to die? Why should people who believe in the same religion wage war on one another? Why should Catholics and Muslims be the enemies of Jews and other Christians? Why should innocent Christian, or Jewish or Muslim children be killed for nothing? There is no legitimate reason for any of these things. The Dajjal is trying to portray peace, liberation, brotherhood, love, compassion and affection as actions belonging to the Dajjal. In this way, he is trying to achieve his aims by turning Jews, Christians and Muslims against one another. The great Islamic scholar Bediuzzaman Said Nursi has warned all Muslims against this peril, and said that the Dajjal would put pressure on the Islamic world and inflict difficult and hard times on devout Muslims: According to a noble Hadith of the Prophet (saas), noxious and awesome persons like Sufyan and the Dajjal will come to rule over the godless at the end of time, and exploiting the greed, discord and hatred amongst the Muslims and mankind, they will need only a small force to reduce humanity to anarchy and the vast world of Islam to slavery. (14) Devout Muslims should be aware of this danger and not fall into the Dajjal's trap. As a requirement of the verse "Allah loves those who fight in His Way in ranks like well-built walls" (Surat as-Saff: 4), Muslims must act in a spirit of unshakable unity and union. They must take the moral values of our Prophet (saas), who always sought the path of understanding even with the idolaters, as their role model; they must scrupulously avoid disputes and disagreement. In fact, our Prophet (saas) has warned Muslims against such a danger by reminding them that in the event that believers turn against one another they may fall under the influence of the Dajjal: In those days believers whose relations between one another are defective will be unable to escape being the target of the Dajjal. (15)" ...... And also:" The fact is, however, that Christians, Jews and Muslims are not one another's enemies; on the contrary, they are one another's allies against the atheism supported by the Dajjal. Christians, Jews and Muslims believe in Allah in the same way, and love and respect the same prophets. Prophet Ibrahim (as), Prophet Ishmael (as), Prophet Ishaq (as), Prophet Ya'qub (as), Prophet Yusuf (as), Prophet Musa (as) or Prophet Dawud (as) are just as important to Muslims as they are to Jews. In the same way, Prophet 'Isa (as) is just as valuable and sacred to Muslims as he is to Christians. The entire Islamic world has been announcing the glad tidings of this holy individual's return to earth for the last 1,400 years and preparing for this historic event with the greatest enthusiasm. In addition, the lands lived on by Jews and Muslims, and where they serve Allah, are just as sacred to Muslims as they are to Jews. That being the case, there can be no legitimate reason for a climate of war, chaos and anarchy, or for bloodshed on lands that are sacred to members of all three revealed religions. This subject needs to be considered in a most rational manner: Why should living in peace and security be Dajjalism? " ...."This Indoctrination by the Dajjal Conflicts with the Torah and the Gospel The indoctrination carried out by the Dajjal by imputing false interpretations of the Old Testament, suggesting that there needs to be war between Muslims and Catholics, and other Christians and Jews, that the climate of violence and tension needs to be maintained, and that peace has to be prevented, are in complete contradiction of both the New Testament and the Old. This distorted analysis is the complete moral antithesis of the moral values taught to Christians by Prophet 'Isa (as). Christianity is based on love, peace and tolerance. It is written in the Gospel of Matthew that Prophet 'Isa (as) told his disciples to "Love your enemies, bless them that curse you..."(Matthew: 5:44). In the Gospel of Luke it is revealed that he said, "If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also? (Luke: 6:29). Nowhere in the New Testament are there any provisions legitimizing violence. There is very definitely no room for any idea favoring the killing of innocent people. Christianity is a religion of love and peace. In the Gospels, Christians are commanded to love even their enemies, to do good to all mankind, and to respond to evil with good. When one looks at the Gospels, one sees that Prophet 'Isa (as) always recommended love, peace and friendship: "Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always try to be kind to each other and to everyone else." (1 Thessalonians 5: 15) Remind them ?to obey ?showing all humility to all men. (Paul's Epistle to Titus 3: 1-2) Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honour giving preference to one another. (Romans 12: 10) Another matter emphasized in Gospel statements is the eradication of discrimination, conflict and disputes, and for peace to be maintained by people uniting around a single idea: " all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought." (Corinthians 1: 10)..... ..........A good action and a bad action are not the same. Repel the bad with something better and, if there is enmity between you and someone else, he will be like a bosom friend. (Surah Fussilat: 34) One of the finest models on this subject is the moral values displayed by our Prophet (saas). Prophet Muhammad (saas) always behaved most justly and compassionately towards Jews and Christians. He wanted an environment based on love and compromise to be established between Muslims and members of the other revealed religions. In the early years of Islam, some Muslims who suffered oppression at the hands of the polytheists of Mecca lived in friendship and peace with Christians by sheltering with the Christian king of Ethiopia, Negus (or al-Najashi). Believers who migrated to Medina with our Prophet (saas) developed a model of living with the Jews in Medina that constitutes a model for all subsequent generations. During the spread of Islam, the tolerance shown to Jewish and Christian communities in Arabia went down in history as an important example of Muslims' tolerance and justice towards the People of the Book." ............ Allah Knows the Best. Once again I have to give the written works of HaunYahya.com as preferences and thereby giving many reasons to correct ourselves, the truth and the time of PEACE and good things to do for:(please read below) ...."A great many regions of the Middle East are sacred for Christians, Jews and Muslims. These areas are in any case the lands of the forefathers of Christians and Jews. All the prophets loved and respected by Muslims lived in these lands and communicated their message there. These lands, which are most valuable and sacred to all of us, are very wide. Members of the three revealed religions must be able to live as they wish, be free to perform their religious observances, engage in trade and leave in peace and security on these lands. The underground resources possessed by the region, especially oil, can be made use of in such a way that everyone can benefit from them equally. An atmosphere of peace and security is essential for this. What the region needs is for societies to progress in terms of art, medicine and science, for an environment in which fundamental human rights and individual rights are protected to be established, and for a full concept of democracy to be installed. In connection with this it is also important that economic development should be ensured. However, it is a great loss to spend resources that could be set aside for these things on military expenses and weaponry instead. To that end, sincere believers must join forces, and existing means must be used to establish that alliance rather than on waging war. Problems such as these in the region stem from the fact that people fail to live fully by religious moral values, and from the influence of such ideologies as materialism and atheism, supported by the Dajjal. This, of course, is not a problem limited to the Middle East alone. Moral degeneration caused by people having turned away from religious moral values, serial killings and perversions of various kinds can be seen in a great many regions of the world. What sincere believers need to do is to make genuine endeavors for these practices outside religious moral values to be eliminated. Naturally, the Dajjal will seek to spread this situation all over the world, and will emerge with various tactics and cunning plans in order for the environment of war and terror to persist." ............................................... To be continued. (end) ............................................... One Surah in the Holy Quran is Surah Ar Rom.It tells much on the Rome at that time of Islam during its infancy and also relates to topic of later dates in History. Allah Knows the best.
