Assalamualaikum

The first time [Danish Newspaper] produces cartoons insulting our prophet, no major and decisive action done especially by muslim organisations [OIC] or any so-called muslim countries [apart from boycotting which was done mainly on individual basis]

Of course, if no firm action was done by muslim on the first instance [Danish issue], non-muslim [and you see now it was done by Christian!!] will see that muslim are so weak and cannot even defend their own rights and dignity. Hence, non-muslim will not afraid to insult muslim again and again and they will continue doing this until we lost it all.

This is the reality of the cowardness especially of the muslim countries. We talk so much and little action !! [shame to have big organisation like OIC, big in name, molecule in action]

Subject: CATHOLICS PUBLISH CARTOON OF RASULULLAH (S.A.W.) CHOPPED UP IN HELL

Assalamu aleikum.

The US-based fascist "Opus Dei", whose founder praised Hitler for
"saving" Spain from communism, has now insulted Rasulullah (S.A.W.)
through one of its Italian publications, Studi Cattolici (Catholic
Studies).

For more information from an independent source on the fascist Roman
Catholic secret society "Opus Dei", see:

Cartoon of Muhammad in hell

Rome - An Italian magazine close to the influential Catholic
conservative Opus Dei group has published a cartoon showing the
Prophet Mohammed in hell, sparking outrage among Muslim associations
in Italy.

The drawing is published in the March issue of Studi Cattolici.

According to the Italian news agency Ansa, the cartoon shows the
Italian poets Dante Alighieri and Virgil on the edge of a circle of
flames looking down on Mohammed, whose body is cut in half.

"Isn't that Mohammed?" Virgil is shown asking Dante.

"Yes, and he's cut in two because he has brought division to society,"
replies Dante.

Cartoons by 12 artists, first published in a Danish newspaper in
September and later reprinted in a number of other mainly European
dailies, sparked Muslim protests worldwide.

Studi Cattolici editor Cesare Cavalleri said: "I hope the publication
of this drawing won't lead to attacks, because if that happened it
would only prove the idiotic positions of Islamic extremists.

"Sometimes a politically incorrect satirical cartoon can do some good.
It's only a reference to a passage in (Dante's) Divine Comedy.

"In any case, Mohammed was sent to hell by Dante."

The cartoon drew immediate fire from Italy's Muslim community.

Roberto Piccardo, an official of the union of Italian Muslim
communities, said: "With all the efforts made in the Christian and
Muslim world for inter-faith dialogue, there are nevertheless always
minorities that inflame things and cause provocations."

OPUS DEI IN THE U.S.
http://www.opusdei.us/sec.php?s=379

Opus Dei is a Catholic institution working in more than 60 countries
around the world. It has activities in many of the major U.S. cities.
A brief account of Opus Dei's history and activities in the United States.

Opus Dei began its apostolic activities in the United States in
Chicago in 1949, when Sal Ferigle, a young physics graduate student,
and Fr. Joseph Muzquiz, one of the first 3 priests to be ordained for
Opus Dei, arrived in Chicago. The first center was established near
the University of Chicago.

Today there are more than 3,000 members in the United States, and a
great many more people who participate in Opus Dei's activities of
spiritual formation. These activities are organized from 60 centers in
19 cities: Boston; Chicago; Dallas; Delray Beach, Florida; Houston;
Los Angeles; Miami; Milwaukee; New York; Pittsburgh; Princeton, New
Jersey; Providence; St. Louis; San Antonio; San Francisco; South Bend,
Indiana; South Orange, New Jersey; Urbana, Illinois; and Washington,
D.C. Opus Dei also organizes activities in many other cities.

The Prelature of Opus Dei uses seven conference centers for retreats
and seminars. They are located near Boston, Chicago, Houston, Miami,
New York, San Francisco and Washington, D.C.

A number of Opus Dei members are involved in programs to assist the
underprivileged. Supplementary educational programs at Midtown and
Metro Centers, for example, have helped thousands of African-American
and Hispanic youth in inner-city Chicago. Around 95 percent of the
students at Midtown and Metro graduate from high school, and 89
percent go on to college (as compared to 20 percent of their peers not
in the program). Similar programs exist in the South Bronx section of
New York, St. Louis and Washington, D.C.

Additionally, Opus Dei members, in cooperation with others, operate
one college and five secondary schools in the United States: Lexington
College in Chicago, the only all-women's college of hospitality
management in the United States; The Heights and Oakcrest near
Washington, D.C.; Northridge Prep and The Willows near Chicago; and
the Montrose School near Boston.

In 1991, Cardinal Joseph Bernardin, Archbishop of Chicago, entrusted
the parish of St. Mary of the Angels to priests of Opus Dei. The
Catholic Information Center in Washington, D.C., and the Holy Cross
Chapel in Houston, Texas, have also been entrusted to priests of Opus Dei.

Opus Dei's U.S. headquarters are located in New York City. Currently
serving as Vicar for the United States is Msgr. Thomas Bohlin.
