First a little info about "Mike Ghouse" from one of his websites:
"Through the Foundation for Pluralism, I have committed my life to
promoting Pluralism - i.e., accepting and respecting every which way
people have come to worship the divine, including but not limited to
the Baha'i, Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Islamic, Jain, Jewish, Sikh,
Zoroastrian and other systems of Beliefs. God has not signed up a deal
with any group behind our backs - all of us have equal time and equal
opportunity with God and no one has any special privileges. All of us
belong to that creator and he belongs to all of us indiscriminately."
But Muslims commit OUR lives to promoting Islam - i.e., accepting and
respecting the revelations that Allah (S.W.T.) made to Muhammad
(S.A.W.), the Final Prophet and Messenger; and following his Sunnah.
No Muslim subscribes to such utter nonsense as this: "God has not
signed up a deal with any group behind our backs - all of us have
equal time and equal opportunity with God and no one has any special
privileges."
First bring on the barf bags.
Then on to his questions.
"Mike Ghouse": The title "Hindoo Cannibals eat baby boy" is
deliberately used to malign other faith groups, to glorify ourselves.
Is this ethically right?
Answer: Of course it is. It is instructive that you don't include
Satanists or Kali worshippers among your symbols for the "Foundation
for Pluralism", which possibly indicates that perhaps even you have
limits to what you consider a legitimate "faith group". It is not the
title that maligns the hindoos, it is the practice of their tantric
adherents in eating dead baby boys that does so. "Maligning" so-called
"faith groups" that practice criminality as part of their "faith" is
entirely acceptable. The pagan practice of devadasi (child temple
prostitutes, of whom there are 100,000 in Maharashtra state alone)
puts hindoos, like satanists, far beyond the pale of any legitimate
"faith group".
2) Aren't we falling into the same pitfalls, the people we accuse of
doing. Maligning Islam?
Answer: Certainly not. Maligning Islam is based on lies, whareas the
"maligning" of the hindoos is based on fact. For example, Islam does
not support so-called "honour killings" and to try to malign Islam
using "honour killings" as a pretext is to resort to base slander.
However, there is nothing slanderous about reporting the latest
tantric outrages, any more than there is anything slanderous about
discussing hindoo devadasi child temple prostitutes. The only
"maligning" comes from hindoos themselves in the actual practice of
such "religious" tenets. While we are forbidden to insult the pagan
fake gods and goddesses (to avoid the pagans from further sinning by
responding with insults to Allah (S.W.T.)), our deen does encourage us
to condemn foul pagan practices. Does the translation of the meaning
of the following ayats ring a bell?
081.008
YUSUFALI: When the female (infant), buried alive, is questioned -
PICKTHAL: And when the girl-child that was buried alive is asked
SHAKIR: And when the female infant buried alive is asked
081.009
YUSUFALI: For what crime she was killed;
PICKTHAL: For what sin she was slain,
SHAKIR: For what sin she was killed,

{Invite (mankind, O Muhammad ) to the Way of your Lord (i.e. Islam) with wisdom (i.e. with the Divine Inspiration and the Qur'an) and fair preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better. Truly, your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His Path, and He is the Best Aware of those who are guided.} (Holy Quran-16:125)
{And who is better in speech than he who [says: "My Lord is Allah (believes in His Oneness)," and then stands straight (acts upon His Order), and] invites (men) to Allah's (Islamic Monotheism), and does righteous deeds, and says: "I am one of the Muslims."} (Holy Quran-41:33)
The prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "By Allah, if Allah guides one person by you, it is better for you than the best types of camels." [al-Bukhaaree, Muslim]
The prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also said, "Whoever calls to guidance will have a reward similar to the reward of the one who follows him, without the reward of either of them being lessened at all." [Muslim, Ahmad, Aboo Daawood, an-Nasaa'ee, at-Tirmidhee, Ibn Maajah]
