Somalia: Cleric Condemns Parliament for Troop Asking

Sheik Hassan Dahir Aweys, a prominent Somali Cleric and the founder of Joint Islamic Courts said that asking peace keeping forces in Somalia by the parliament was historical mistake ever done.
Shiek Hassan who is at Guriel area of Gal-Gaduud district for strengthening Islamist movements in the region as he mentioned told Shabelle Radio that Somalia parliament made the worst mistake after approving foreign troop deployment.
"They have done nothing for Somali people since formed in Kenya, if their first step is asking foreign troops in the country that is Unfortunate" he said
"We have been looking forward their acknowledgments after defeating warlords that hardened the government" he said adding that he warns against deploying foreign troops in Somalia.
Sheik Aweys also mentioned that he urges former warlords to hand over their weapons to the Islamic Courts as Mohamed qanyare did.

"We don't see it progress announcing new Islamic Courts in the capital but we need them to hand over their weapons" he said
Sheik Aweys sent his complements to Mohamed Qanyare, former Mogadishu based warlord and now at Diri village around El-Bur area where he descends.
"I thank for my brother Qanyare who dared to hand his arms over the Islamic Courts after he was defeated" Sheik Aweys said encouraging others still armed in Mogadishu to take same path as Qanyare.

The prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)  also said, "Whoever calls to guidance will have a reward similar to the reward of the one who follows him, without the reward of either of them being lessened at all." [Muslim, Ahmad, Aboo Daawood, an-Nasaa'ee, at-Tirmidhee, Ibn Maajah]
